Chris Nicotra has been immersed in real estate his entire life—joining his father at deal-closing tables as early as age 10 and working in the family's investment and development business throughout his time at Hamden Hall Country Day School. He graduated from Babson College in 1996 with a degree in Business Administration, concentrating in entrepreneurship and real estate finance.

Chris began his career in sales, serving as Vice President of Sales at the Imperial Palace Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, where he also earned a Nevada real estate license, and then as Vice President of Sales at Cigar Savor in Woodbridge, Connecticut. In 2000, sensing the untapped potential in downtown New Haven, he co-founded Olympia Properties with his father. Over the next 18 years the firm built a portfolio of shopping centers, office buildings, and parking lots across Greater New Haven, closing more than 50 purchase/sale transactions and signing over 100 leases. During the same period he was a partner in the family's collector-car business, Dennis Nicotra Classic Cars, buying and selling classic European sports cars around the world.

In 2018 Chris formed Apollo Investment & Real Estate Holdings in Connecticut as the natural successor to Olympia, and in 2019 he brought the firm to South Florida. Today Apollo provides brokerage, investment, development, and management services across South Florida and New England, with roughly 2 million square feet and $50 million in transactions to Chris's credit. From 2022 until its sale in December 2024, he also co-founded and led Ocean Delray Real Estate, a boutique brokerage serving builders, developers, and investors. In addition to his full-time real estate career, he also serves as the CFO of Eye Life International, a humanitarian organization that helps restore sight in more than 20 countries by sourcing and placing donor corneal tissue.

Chris is a leader in organized real estate. He is the 2026 President of the Realtors® Commercial Alliance, the commercial division of Broward, Palm Beaches & St. Lucie Realtors®, where he has served on the board since 2022, and a 2026 Director of Florida Realtors®. His work has earned him the "Top 40 Under 40" award from the New Haven Business Times and selection as one of 16 "Rising Stars" by Business New Haven.

​A firm believer in community involvement, Chris serves as Chairman of the Delray Beach Concours Foundation, which supports local charities and cultural events. His personal passions include automobile racing, collecting European classic and sports cars, Concours d'Elegance events, show-jumping horses, and snow skiing.
